bnsf 5729 MUST SEE!! Cab Ride in SP 2472 on the Niles Canyon Railway (3/25/12) - Sunol to Brightside Yard

One word to describe this experience: AWESOME!! I've gotten a few cab rides in diesel locomotives in the past, but getting a cab ride in a steam locomotive like SP 2472 has to be right near the most memorable rides! One of the volunteers at the Niles Canyon Railway (who was working as brakeman on this day for Spring Steam Weekend) arranged for me to get a cab ride in 2472 at the end of the day as she returned to Brightside Yard from Sunol! This was one of the biggest opportunities I've ever gotten since starting railfanning back in 2009! This is the footage I got during this experience!
